If you haven't heard of Villagers then do yourself a favor and check him out. On these US dates below Villagers is just frontman Conor J. O'Brien. He and his band will be back in the states later this year. His debut album Becoming A Jackal was released on Domino Records on June 8th in the US. I've seen him three times and his live shows are not to be missed. He played our SXSW showcase and our Kevchino presents showcase the night before but I still found the time to see his next show at Union Hall and I recommend you find the time to make it out to one of the dates below. He did an unplugged version of "Home," and amazing performance of his tune "Becoming A Jackal" and one of my favorite tunes not on the US LP but released prior as a single "On A Sunlit Stage (see live video below)."Sat.
