Dirty Projectors performed after the So Percussion who we unfortunately missed at The Brooklyn Masonic Temple this Thursday evening.

After a while of testing and setting up Dan Deacon took the stage with enlisted help from an ensemble of musicians. The ensemble really brought his electronic music to a whole new level of life, especially the percussion players. He rotated from doing songs solo, immersed in the crowd to jumping on stage and joining the ensemble for a live jam. This show was a premiere of a whole new Deacon showing what he's capable of in a band environment. The crowd was more than please as he pushed the envelope of his style incorporating a band but ended the show getting the crowd in a frenzy all on his own. People just love Dan Deacon with or with out a band.
